Lufthansa Allegris prepares for take off

By PAX Magazine Staff

Lufthansa Allegris will soon fly on long-haul routes

Lufthansa Allegris, a new travel experience on Lufthansa’s long-haul routes, is set to begin scheduled service on May 1.

The first A350 equipped with Allegris will fly from Munich (MUC) to Vancouver (YVR). The second destination is Toronto (YYZ), which will be served alternately with Vancouver on selected flights in the first few months, the April 16 press release said. As further A350s are delivered, the Allegris cabin experience will also be available on flights to Chicago (ORD) and Montreal (YUL) later this year.

Travellers can now view a seat map for all Allegris flights, beginning on May 1, in the familiar booking channels with all special Allegris seats, including the five options in Business Class. A photo gallery with important information on the various options gives travellers a detailed idea of the product at the time of booking.

Passengers who are already booked on these flights will be notified of their "upgrade" to the Allegris cabin. Seat reservations in Business Class are free in the first few months and can be made and updated via the familiar booking channels for Lufthansa.
