airBaltic has appointed Alise Briede as the Head of Corporate Communications. In her new position, Briede will be responsible for media relations and communications for the Latvian airline and report to Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic.
A public relations professional, Briede studied at the University of Latvia finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Communications Science. Briede started her PR career as the press secretary in Riga and in 2013 she joined the public relations agency, “Hill and Knowlton Latvia”. Since 2014, Briede has been working at airBaltic as a Corporate Communications Assistant and later as a Corporate Communications Representative.
“airBaltic had a great start of the year — we have at least 12 new destinations on our route map, introduced the world’s most modern aircraft Bombardier CS300, and serve a growing family of customers," said Gauss. "Therefore, I am very happy to have Alise with her aviation knowledge and experience to take part of the success of airBaltic as the new head of the Corporate Communications department.”
