Richard Denny appointed to digEcor board

Long-time global technology executive Richard Denny has been named the newest member of digEcor’s board. He was appointed to the position October 1.

From 1988 to 2012, Denny held various positions at Inmarsat including a decade as Vice President Satellite and Network Operations.

Before that, he worked with Australia’s Overseas Telecommunications Commission (now part of Telstra) and AUSSAT (now OPTUS). He currently sits on numerous boards across a wide variety of industries.

“Richard’s wealth of experience with a global technology business will be an asset to the continued expansion and overall success of digEcor,” noted David Withers, Chief Executive of digEcor, in a release this week. “We are delighted to have Richard join the Board.”

“Being able to contribute to a business as exciting as digEcor is something I will enjoy immensely," Denny said. "The business has achieved significant advances in capabilities and game-changing solutions in a short space of time, and I look forward to working with David, the Board and the excellent team assembled in furthering the success of digEcor.”
