Eurowings extends contract with Retail inMotion

Retail inMotion will conduct outsourced retail management for Eurowings and its stations across Europe for another three years.

Eurowings has a longstanding partnership with Retail inMotion through LSG Sky Chefs Retail GmbH (LSG Retail).

“We are very pleased to continue the robust cooperation that we share with Eurowings,” said José Lirio Silva, Managing Director LSG Retail in today’s announcement. “Over more than a decade, we have approached our partnership with Eurowings as more than a caterer. We constantly look for new ways to assist this key customer in implementing industry-leading concepts and further develop our relationship.”

As part of the new contract agreement, LSG Retail will implement a new loading concept to increase efficiencies for the airline and its passengers.

“We have developed a productive, edifying and long-lasting business relationship with the LSG Retail team in Cologne,” said Katrin Flöther, Vice President Customer Experience and Product at Eurowings. “The past successes we have implemented together clearly indicate that our collaboration will benefit the overall customer satisfaction on board the Eurowings fleet and will be lucrative for both of our companies moving forward.”

The relationship between Eurowings and LSG Group originally began in 2002 under the Germanwings brand. LSG Retail caters more than 175,000 flights for Eurowings each year.
